Utah State University (Logan, Utah)

Utah State University

At Utah State University, I completed my B.S. in Electrical Engineering with Spanish and Math Minors. I went on to complete my M.E. in Electrical Engineering as well as my MBA from the Jon M. Hunstman School of Business. Throughout my time at USU, I have had the opportunity to work on many exciting and challenging projects. A few of them can be seen here.

Universidad de La Rioja (Logrono, Spain)

Universidad de La Rioja

During a summer study abroad program offered through Utah State University, I had the opportunity to travel to Spain. I was able to take language, literature, history, culture, and culinary courses. During this study abroad, I stayed with a host family. This was very beneficial for me as I was able to immerse myself deeply into the cultures and customs of the Spanish people. Through this trip, along with my proficiency in Spanish and other courses taken at Utah State, I was able to earn my Spanish Minor.

Universidad APEC (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic)

Universidad APEC

Halfway through my undergraduate degree at Utah State University, I had the desire to learn Spanish. Through all of my research, it had become apparent that immersion is the best way of learning a language. A week before the semester started, I bought a one-way ticket to the Dominican Republic. During my time in the Dominican Republic, I found that trying to learn by speaking, without any formal education, was going to be a challenge. I enrolled in a "Spanish for foreigners" course at Universidad APEC in Santo Domingo. Through my coursework and immersion, I have become proficient in Spanish.
